John joined Proctor Financial in 2015 and in his Financial Planner role, he leverages his 30 years of financial services experience and educational background to support comprehensive financial planning services for our clients.
John earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Oberlin College and later his MBA in Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. His career in financial services included roles as a Registered Representative at Dean Witter Reynolds, Finance Director at Fidelity Investments institutional and retail brokerage businesses, and various positions at State Street Corporation.
When John decided to return to individual client-focused work, he completed his CFP® coursework at Boston University’s Center for Professional Education and passed the CFP® Certification Examination. He is a Candidate for CFP®. John is active in the local National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) group.
In his personal time, John enjoys following the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox, working out, biking, gardening, and cooking. He currently lives in Norwood, MA.
